Green Iguana (Iguana Iguana): It’s an endangered species. They commonly inhabit central American region, from Mexico to Brazil. They are found along banks of streams in forest areas. Though, in primary stage, they may eat insects, when grown up, they are preferably herbivores. They grow to a length of 2 meters with the tail being 1.5 meters. They use their long tails like whips and defend defend themselves.
Star tortoise (Geochelone elegans): A beautiful terrestrial reptile. It is found in dry and arid habitats. It loves to drink water. It mainly feeds on grass but also feeds on flowers and fruits. It also eats termites and meat. Female lays 3-7 eggs in a clutch laid in a dug up pit. Eggs hatch out with 50-140 days. When in danger withdraws out its head in to its shell.
