Bangalore to Calicut (Kozhikode) on bike: Chapter 6: Chembra Peak, Wayanad: Part 1
Chembra peak, the highest hill in Wayanad, is near Meppady town. Trekking to the Chembra peak is a risky mountaineering endeavour. You need to have the trekking gear before you proceed. We were too tired to evn think of trekking as we have been driving over 500+ kilometers in a day. A local guy said that it will take a whole day if you go till the peak. I dropped the idea. Chembra peak entry fee is: Rs. 10 and camera fee: Rs. 25.
