Bangalore Palace was a palace of Maharaja of Mysore, Chamaraja Wodeyar. The place is built in Tudor style architecture. It has fortified towers, battlements and turrets. It is actually a replica of Windsor Castle in England. It was built by Rev. Garrett in 1944. He was the first principal of Central High School (currently known as Central College). The actual construction of the palace started in 1862. The palace was bought by Chamaraja Wodeyar in 1873 and was later renovated. The place is currently owned by Srikanta Datta Narsimharaja Wadiyar.
