Bangalore to Mekedatu on bike: Part 3: Chunchi Falls

After an hour drive we arrived at Kanakapura. Kanakapura is a town and the headquarters of Kanakapura Taluk in the Ramanagara district in the state of Karnataka. Situated near the city of Bengaluru, this town is famous for the production of silk and granite. We had breakfast and continued our journey. Then after half an hour drive we saw a board on the left side which read “Chunchi Falls 6km”. We took the left turn to the Yeleguri village to go to this waterfall. The falls is made by the river Arkavathi and it’s a nice picnic spot. Due to the dry season there was not much water but you can expect it to be more in the rainy season.
