- Goravaih: These people under Goravayya stock are the ardent devotees of Mailaralinga and Mallays- the different manifestations of Lord Shiva. While dancing, “pillangovi” (flute) and “Damaruga” (rattle drum) are being used for melody and tempo: Mailaralinga, Maidalarama and similar long narrative poems get tunefully recited to the accompaniment of these instruments.
