Obviously the most charming and versatile of his queens and a rutting elephant to the co-wives. Shantala built this basti in 1123 AD. The seated image of Shantinatha, the 16th Tirthankara, one meter high on the lion throne, in the Garbhagriha and the Sarvahna Yaksha and Ambika Yakshi in the vestibule are of Hoysala workmanship. The Navaranga pillars are simple. The tower of this basti has been subsequently renovated.
