Sri Dodda Ganapathi (Ganesha) Temple, Basavanagudi, Bangalore: Part 1

Sri Dodda Ganapathi Temple is located in Basavanagudi. The monolithic Ganapathi is about 18 ft in height and 16 ft in width. The most famous is the butter coating of the idol. More than 100 kg of butter is used for this purpose. Entry timings are from Morning 7 am to 12.30 pm and Evening: 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm. It is located just next to Bull temple and near to Bugle Rock Park. Address is: Sri Dodda Ganapathi Temple, Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi, Bangalore, 560019.
