Mysore Dasara (Vijayadashami): Part 9: Mysore Palace during Dussehra and History of Dussehra
Dasara festivities were started in 15th century by Vijayanagar Kings. Later Wodeyar’s continued the tradition. Dussehra is celebrated in Mysore for 10 days starting from Navaratri. Mysore Palace is lighted up all 10 days and it looks spectacular:
