Trip to Kanyakumari: Chapter 1: Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari: Part 3
A small stone elephant guarded the entrance of the Vivekananda Mandapam:

That’s the entrance of the Vivekananda Mandapam:

Here’s another view of the Vivekananda Mandapam:

Just near the Vivekananda Mandapam the direction was inscribed in the ground:

In front of the Vivekananda Mandapam lies the Shripada Mandapam. A natural projection in the rock similar in form to a human foot and a little brownish in complexion, around which this Mandapam has been built, has traditionally been venerated as a symbol of the “Shri Padam”. According to the legend, Goddess Parvati in one of her incarnation as Kanya did tapasya in this spot to obtain the hand of Lord Shiva.

Near the Vivekananda Mandapam I could see the merger of three seas – Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean:

From there I took a nice snap of the Thiruvalluvar Statue:

I also took a video:
Then, I went inside the Vivekananda Mandapam. There was a beautiful statue of Swami Vivekananda and nearby there was a rock. There was a note near that rock: Swami Vivekananda sojourned on this rock for meditation towards the end of 1892. He was on the rock presumably on 25th, 26th and 27th of December. Photography is not allowed inside the Mandapams so I noted this down in a paper. Outside the Mandapam we found a Sunrise calendar:
