Trip to Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram: Chapter 2: Beach near the Shore Temple: Part 1

August 12, 2009 by admin 2 Comments

It was about 5 pm in the evening and after the Shore Temple we went to see the beach. There were lots of people in the beach and the atmosphere was amazing. Sasmita had a horse ride for RS. 50. After the horse ride, my colleagues started playing in the beach and at this time I clicked lots of photos. Sasmita also fell near the beach and got covered with sand 🙂 ( I know Sasmita, but you know I had to write this one :)) Here are the photos of the beach:

  • Statue of Thiruvalluvar: He was the divine poet of the civilised world and was a great social philosopher of the ancient world. His masterpiece Thirukural talks about the problems of the mankind and gives solutions to it.
